The Big 12 is discussing playing 20 league games during the 2024-25 season, multiple sources told College Hoops Today.
There is no timetable on an official announcement.
The Big 12 currently plays 18 league games, but this season will be the first year that the conference will not play a double round-robin format during league play following the additions of BYU, Cincinnati, Houston, and UCF.
Arizona, Arizona State, Colorado, and Utah will join the Big 12 for the 2024-25 season as Texas and Oklahoma depart the conference for the SEC.
